Tunnel Chase

Got to work on a handful of these shots which was fun. Creating cave rocks and adjusting cave walls to add interesting shapes and forms to give motivation to the plate actor's chase.

Cathedral Interior

This room in the sequence was meant to be covered  with plastic on the walls and extended up digitally as they were not allowed to damage the original structure. A half set was reconstructed with the top half and walls being full digital replacements that had to match the on set look. Used in a handful of shots but this one is  my favorite as everything from the top half up is full CG.

Tunnel Exit

I created some sculpts of the exit tunnel interior which leads to the characters plunging outwards through the waterfall. Just some simple weathered wet looking rock that gave some interesting sillohette shaping.

Jungle Lagoon

The characters emerge from a long cave tunnel and drop straight into a water lagoon. A small practical pool and shoreline were built on set, but the surrounding jungle and waterfall needed to be fully developed to match the client's vision. I was responsible for the initial environment blocking to support downstream departments with camera layout. From there, I continued building out the larger cliffside and surrounding jungle, and collaborated with other artists who handled the shoreline areas around the lagoon.
