Player Outfit & Monster Concepts

Although I was not formally assigned a concept artist role on this project, I was given the opportunity to create a number of quick concept sketches for several NPC body types, as well as a few creature designs. I was very grateful for the chance to contribute in this way, as it allowed me to explore ideas earlier in the pipeline and step slightly outside my usual responsibilities. It was a refreshing change of pace and a valuable opportunity to broaden my creative involvement on the project.

NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2 : MASK OF THE BETRAYER

For the expansion to Neverwinter Nights 2, a small team transitioned onto the follow-up project and was responsible for creating the new game assets. With this expansion, I was given increased responsibility and tasked with developing new player head models for the additional playable races. These included the fire, air, water, and earth genasi, as well as wood elves.

I sculpted the high-resolution head models based on concept art, then translated them into optimized low-poly meshes with fully baked texture sets. The work also involved creating multiple hairstyle options for each race, along with tint maps that allowed players to further customize their appearance in-game.

NPC  Heads / Bodies

The expansion also introduced a range of new characters for players to interact with. In addition to my other responsibilities, I worked on a variety of character assets, including unique NPC head models and new body costumes for the inhabitants of this new world. Each asset followed the established workflow of the original game, starting from provided concept art and carrying the designs through modeling, texturing, and implementation to ensure they fit seamlessly within the existing visual style while expanding the overall character roster.
