Aliens: Crucible was a project I contributed to for a relatively short period. By the time I joined, development had already been underway for over a year. I came on as an environment artist, initially focusing on smaller props and supporting assets before gradually taking on larger responsibilities. This included building out full environment setups, most notably exterior refinery areas as well as several bespoke interior spaces.
Unfortunately, the project was ultimately cancelled by SEGA before reaching completion, and very little of the work ever saw public release. While a small amount of early gameplay footage has surfaced online over the years, Aliens: Crucible largely remains one of the many ambitious projects that were discontinued during development.
