Witches' Masks

The witches' of Rashemi used a series of masks to identify themselves and associate one another.

Having very limited time to make these assets, and needed to create maximum versatility, I decided to create them all from with no high poly asset. Using a combination of techniques, I was able to give them normal maps and add more detail to the otherwise fairly low meshes.

For the most part the masks vary in terms of their base shapes and the materials in which their made. Ranging from a porcelain material to softer, bone-like qualities, some are decorated with gems, gold, metals or feathers.

Being limited to the actual number of variant tint textures that could be used, I created the tint maps in a way that would allow the larger spaces that the eye would catch to be tintable and therefore more noticeable to change in the long run.



Larger imaages are base masks. Smaller versions are tint mapped variants.
